Great place and wonderful hosts! This place was perfect for us with our 3 adult kids and 2 dogs. Super responsive hosts! We asked in advance if there could be a gate on the deck for the dogs, and the hosts had one installed before we arrived. We had water issues during our stay that the hosts resolved quickly. Great layout for 5 adults, spacious kitchen, and a huge deck where it was easy for each of us to do our own thing... hot tub, hammock, lounge chair or rockers while the dogs ran around. The area is quiet and the house is surrounded by trees, so very private. We didn't use the outdoor projector but enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard and the board games at the house. (Note that the queen bed is in a loft area and not a bedroom - Airbnb doesn't allow you to make that distinction).

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was great and had everything we needed. We really appreciated having enough towels (usually seems to be a problem in Airbnb's), the kitchen was very well stocked, and we just felt really comfortable in the house. I was ecstatic that they had Huggermugger (plus a lot of other great games and electronics)! We really enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor projector (how cool!) and the beautiful deck, and the guys LOVED using the flat top grill. The house is in a great location, we took a beautiful hike to nearby Crabtree Falls. We loved walking around the beautiful property and getting to spend time together in such a beautiful space! I am hoping to come back soon for a family visit!

We enjoyed a family get-together to celebrate our son’s graduation. The hot tub was great with plenty of room. We enjoyed the kitchen and deck to hang out. We couldn’t find any pool cues & didn’t have any luck getting the arcade game, PlayStation and Firestick(on the outdoor projector) to work. However, these didn’t really impact our stay. The video was very helpful in finding the house!

Very nice place. It was very clean and well stocked. Neighbors around but very private. Beautiful setting. Krista was very responsive and helpful. The decor was nicely done. The house does have a lived in look and the couch is a bit worn. The beds were all comfortable. Beautiful deck and nice hot tub. The pool table is worn with a slope. It was fine for a friendly game, but don’t plan on a serious game. About 45 minutes to Asheville. We first arrived in the dark, which made it a bit interesting finding the house. All in all we loved the place and would gladly go back. Only problem, we never saw Gomez the cat.

Katie’s place was everything she described and more! It was in a beautiful and peaceful location and it was spotless! The hot tub was clean and really enjoyable. Instructions were clear for check in and check out. There was plenty of things to do at the house so even though it rained on one of the days we were there, there was still plenty of games and things to do at the house and we were never bored. Katie was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. She was also very friendly. We had no problems with our stay and I would definitely recommend Katie’s place! It was an awesome stay!

Beautiful stay in Spruce Pine. Wonderful secluded home. Lots of room, open floor plan. Deck is amazing, hot tub was great. Lots of amazing day trips, Asheville, Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Brevard, Waterfalls ,Breweries galore. Amazing food in area, highly recommend Live Oak Gastro Pub in Spruce Pine. Only cons air conditioner on top floor was out entire trip, but was communicated to us before check in. Could not use washing machine either. Overall a great stay, things happen, just have to roll with it. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely 4 nights at this house. It was exactly as described and gave us the escape we were looking for. We were close enough to dining, grocery stores and attractions but still far enough to enjoy open space and fresh air. There was plenty of space for our family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The beds were very comfortable. While it can sleep 10, there is only indoor dining seating for 7. If you catch nice weather, you can spread out to the nice patio table as well, though, so it all works out. The game room was well stocked for kids and adults alike. The game closet upstairs had great games for our young kids, too. Overall it was a nice home and we'd recommend it to friends looking for a nice mountain getaway.

We're already planning return trips for the spring and fall. The house is beautiful and the view is spectacular. Hosts went above and beyond with directions to the house, including a video you can follow as you drive up the steep and winding road. The house is so spacious and comfortable. Our dogs especially appreciated the gate on the deck so they could hang out with us outside. Katie is friendly and a great communicator. We've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this definitely a new favorite!

What a lovely and spacious home tucked away in the mountains! Very beautiful views, especially when dusted in fresh snow. In addition to the home, we enjoyed easy access to Jonas Ridge snowtubing, Linville Falls winery, and downtown Spruce Pine (it's on its way back!). A little further drive to Banner Elk, made for a fun day at the Alpine Coaster and downtown. If the hot tub had been working, it would have been the cherry on top!

We loved our stay here! Plenty of room for our family of 7 (5 kids ages 9-19). So many fun games and amenities in the basement. Huge sectional sofa we could all sit on together and play cards. Very private lot, quiet. Saw a deer grazing in backyard on numerous occasions. Loved the hot tub and outdoor projector.

Elizabeth's place was great. The property is very secluded so you are immersed in nature and can enjoy peace and quiet. The house is huge and there is definitely enough room to spread out. The hot tub was super clean and was a great place to relax after a day out and about. The internet was fast and the multiple streaming platforms were a plus. Would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

The openness of the kitchen and living area was nice for hanging out with family. The hot tub was a hit, other than having to monitor it so it didn’t get too hot. The game room was a great place for having fun. With the nice weather we were able to have dinner on the deck one evening.

Such an amazing stay! Our family rented Katie’s place for Thanksgiving and we had everything we needed and more. The space is spacious and open, and we loved the game room downstairs and the hot tub for a fun night in. Great location close to downtown and other towns in the area. Overall, loved our time at Katie’s place and would highly recommend!

This home is nestled in the mountains and it was exactly what we were looking for. Private, quiet, excellent accommodations. Plenty of room for our growing family to have plenty of space to spend our vacation together. We had a wonderful stay at "Secluded Cabin"! The cabin had lots of room for our big crowd and there were many things (tv, game room, play station) to keep our kids occupied! We loved the location and the quiet surroundings! We would definitely consider staying at Katie's place again in the future!! They communicated well with us whenever we had a question and were very friendly!!

Katie’s home was very clean and welcoming and had a beautiful view. It felt very homey to stay in, as soon as I walked in I felt right at home and everything was accessible and easy to find. My friends and I enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend Katie’s place to anyone who wanted stay. We are beyond grateful for her and for her letting us stay in her home. Her response time was great and she was very proactive. 10/10♥️

This is a beautiful place! It's perfect for a family gathering with several rooms to be together enjoying all the games, activities, and amenities you could wish for. It's also close to so many local scenic spots like Penland School of Crafts, gem mining at Emerald Village, and hiking to Crabtree Waterfall off the BlueRidge Parkway. The house is imacculate and has all the amenities you need for a wonderfully comfortable stay.

Somehow more spacious than it looks, with LOTS to do, darts, billiards, a huge hot tub, tabletop and video games, and very interesting books. The smart TVs were such a treat, and the beds are super comfy. More than worth the price and so beautiful. Just ten minutes away from a grocery store. We hope to stay again!

This home was so dreamy! It was the perfect spot for us to stay with family and friends. It was tucked away but also close to stores. The home is set up so perfectly so that we could have a large group but still tuck away in corners when we wanted time away from the group. The hosts were amazing. So quick to communicate and jump in when we needed help. The water stopped working for us and the hosts were so attentive and apologetic. They helped us get the issue resolved and offered a refund for the inconvenience. I highly recommend this home! The most charming space to stay :)

We had a wonderful time and we’re able to enjoy our family for Christmas, and they even had a pre lit and decorated Christmas tree in the house. We had 6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. We were all comfortable and had places to sleep. The home is in a beautiful mountain area with plenty of privacy.

Place is spacious. Plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. Very private and quiet area. Highly recommend watching the YouTube video with details on how to find the house. There are lots of games for entertainment. Communication with manager was excellent. I recommend staying here.
